Free Tibet

I took this shot in November 2005 in the streets of London.
I think this shot speaks for itself.....but here's a 'lil bit of history:


China invaded Tibet in October 1950.
1.2 million Tibetans are estimated to have been killed since that date!

Tibetans are a minority in their own country with 5.5 million Chinese for 4.5 million Tibetans!
The Dalai Lama as well as millions of Tibetan have been forced to leave their country to find refuge in India in order to stay alive.
The Dalai Lama hasn't been able to step foot in his own country for over 50 years!
The little boy that has been recognized as the reincarnation of the previous Dalai Lama has disappeared, kidnapped by the Chinese and no one has heard from him since.
The Chinese have tortured and killed Tibetan people for over 55 years!

The Potala, ex residence of the Dalai Lama, has been transformed into a museum!
The Tibetan culture is under serious threat!

The Tibetan plateau is used as a nuclear dumping ground!
Tibet was one of the rare un-polluted area left on this earth!
Not anymore!

The Chinese are still slaughtering people in Tibet today and forcing them to give up their culture and religion!
Yet, nobody gives a damn!
There's no oil in Tibet after all........so let them die!
